Founder - Patricia Carter

Patricia Carter knew her calling, she wanted to provide food for the poor and spread the love of Christ to her local community. She has commited her life to helping the people around her. Her mission was to gather the churches together as she supports the spirit of unity. She wants to edify the body of Christ by distributing food to the poor, providing clothes to the needy, and to counsel the people who are broken.

She knew Home At Sunset is the ministry she wanted to create and pursue. At it's core, Home At Sunset is a ministry she desired to have a family-like atmosphere as she believes that we are all brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Her day is consisted of constant prayer as she is seeing the Lord's hand on her ministry to gather food to the nations.

She sees the fruits of her ministry from her past work such as giving out toys to Tri-Valley, Oakland, and San Jose. She has been having tremendous results with churches partnering with Home At Sunset and supporting her cause.

Home at Sunset is not just another non-profit company, but a ministry to fully support the needs of others. It's her belief that she is living the Gospel as it should be lived out.

Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord... Proverbs 19:17
